I've never seen anything about the ram runner. They look like so much fun! Either one!

I'd take a Raptor as well. What you get in factory trim is just perfect. The dodge, that's like having to send your newly purchased car off to Hennessy or something to get it upgraded in order to do what the raptor does stock.

Yeah this strikes me as a "we needed something to run against the Raptor" type challenge. Can't compared a truck that has to be built twice, and professionally dialed in for best results, to one you can drive off the lot and into Baja.

The raptor looks like a well designed factory limited edition vehicle, which it is. The ram runner more or less looks like your typical redneck-afied dodge pickup with a big front bumper. I know it's got bigger flares and stuff, but at first glance it just looks like a lifted dodge with a big bumper.

However, it sure looks like in that video that raptor has trouble with those deep washboard sections or whatever they're called where it kept hitting its nose on the ground.

I like them both. If i was off road more often than not, the ram. If vice versa, the raptor. Both are nice. If the Challenger was in the weight category of the mustang, I would have considered it over the 5.0. They're both beautiful cars.

I agree, Im hoping Ford comes out with another sport truck (Lightning). Ill be all over it. I have an RT ram work truck now with just a mild cam and headers running 13.4s. Gonna need a replacement in another year or so.. 65,000 miles in just 2 years of ownership. Cmon Ford!!

That's cool. Don't they(Dodge) have have a regular cab truck, no options (roll up windows etc) with a hemi that is built for nothing but haul booty? They featured it on the speed channel show "Trucks" last year. Is there only one hemi motor offered in the truck line?

There is a F-150 RegularCab 4x2 w/ EcoBoost V6 available ... closest thing to a Lightning we're ever gonna get.

I believe they have one called an Express. What I have is called an RT, its comparably loaded for a work truck. I want a Lightning, cmon Ford! Mopar trucks and SUVs are mean... with the SRTs or just the 5.7. They just released the 6.4 for their line of vehicles. The Raptor is all Ford offering, and kind of falls short for what I want for a next work truck. To put this in comparison.. a crewcab hemi 4 by 4 with a run of a mill magnuson supercharger kit runs high 12s
