I'm just wondering what all has had a Coyote transplant? I saw on Hot Rod TV a '32 Ford truck got one. Just other than Mustangs. In my 5.0 Mag I have seen a Fox maybe & a '94 Cobra? On here, I think, saw a Bullitt? I've been wanting to ask this for months, just thought to. Thanks!!

What made me think of it is this. I live in a town of like 3K people. @ a rest I eat @ a lot, there's a black SHO parked behind. Near where the workers park.

As soon as I see a car, my brain wonders if mine is faster. I knew they were quick, just not that quick. I then wondered if a new 5.0 was ever put in one?

I just wondered what all these motors are in now. Thanks!

Sorry, just that 99.97% of my posts now are in 10-14 section. This motor is an '11 part. Like I said, had no clue. Thought of this since I posted this. I watch Stacey David's Gearz show, he just had payoff for his Banchee project. It was a Miata that went the Shelby Cobra route. Small car, big motor. He used a, I think, 400 HP 302. Would a Coyote have fit?

 

dont think one would fit in a SHO...that is set up for fwd, dont think it can be horizontally mounted in that car. I know people put 302, and 350's in miata's. Think the Coyote might be physically too big for the engine bay for that as well.

 

Didn't think of it being FWD. See how it wouldn't work.
