man i love those cars. One thing i never understood as to why they offer 2 different powertrains with such close power numbers. I can't beleive they have a market for both types to actually develop two engines.The GTE without the eye shadow looks awesome!

On a serious note, THESE CARS ARE SICK!!! As a Ford salesperson, I relish the day that we get ANYTHING that remotely drives like them. With gas the way it is, don't know if we'll get the power numbers with manuals, but one can dream. All I do know? If the lotto ever came in for me, I would fly down there, and place an order for an FPV GT in Conquer Blue (with the white stripes), with all options in a manual, AND I would also pick up an FPV F6! That one would be Dash (Bright Green), with everything in a stick!!!
At least I can dream.

Exhibit #42 of why Ford needs to bring in their excellent foreign wares.
Pontiac is going to go to town with the excellent G8 -- a completely credible working man's 5 Series -- and Ford has their excellent alternative restricted to the land of Koalas. I'm sure Ford N.A. has a rational, researched, polled, cleared-by-committee -- and wrong -- set of rationales as to why they aren't bringing these Stateside.
Yet another squandered opportunity to add to the list.

Speaking of pontiac. I pass a dealer everyday, and they have had a red top model G8 sitting there for couple weeks now... I figured it would sell rather quick.
In the same stretch of road there is a Ford Dealer, Bullitt was out there 1 day, gone the next.
