If it's properly exectuted, I agree, it will be.

I swear I see a little Land Rover mixed in with that "station wagon."

Yeah, looks alot better than the partially-unpainted mule earlier. This is gona be a winner (Now give the Edge that level of interior!)

BTW: I like the new radio/HVAC controls in the Flex's stack ALOT more than those in other Fords I've seen recently. Not only does it look better than "the brick," but they have actual ***** for volume+tuning instead of buttons! Ford, please make this the new standard for controls and ditch the brick.

Sorry Joe, but a manual in this type of vehicle really what the core of buyers want. But don't fret, Ford is coming out with a version of DSG.

Well the vast majority of comsumers in the market for a people mover don't want a stick, and most stick enthusiasts prefer something alittle more, um, Nimble. So there's no real reason to offer a stick.

I'm with you. I would get no joy out of rowing my own in this odd, pimped, white schoolbus.

I'm thinking white is definitely not this vehicle's most flattering color.

It definitely needs the two-tone paint.

not trying to jack the thread, please dont respond to this post. I dont have that car to be nimble, i have manual transmissions for more reasons than enjoyment. i only drive stick. thats it. i dont want to maintain an auto, i dont want to have problems with autos, i dont want a computer controlling something that i am perfectly capable of controlling myself. Its an efficiency/enineerin/ simplistic ideal i have in my brain. I will at some point need a people/stuff mover, and i still want it to be stick. not to bang gears. but to be proper. that all said, i love the look of the flex, and would love to have one, i think it will work very well. But i cant buy one.

the only styling thing that i am not a huge fan of is the grill. Not just this car, but i think the three chrome bar grill thing is getting to be too much. Especially the new focus. other than that, i really like the look of this car.

Who wants a stick in a two-and-a-half ton utility vehicle...?

Sorry.

I'm pretty certain they will be using the same materials for the dash that are in the Fusion and 500/Taurus. The soft-touch padding material. This is a nice look and feels upscale.
