Just to let you know, its really no different in length than the now discontinued Freestar. And the lines in the sides, I like that. It makes it different, and that is why it will sell.

^^^ Can someone photoshop the Flex to make it look like a classic woody wagon while retaining the "character lines" on the sides and back? Possibly might look better?

We have come full circle. The station wagon was very popular, then became "uncool", and was replaced by SUVs. SUVs were popular, are now "uncool", and are being replaced by station wagons...

I hope Ford doesn't underestimate the potential of this class-of-one vehicle. Unfortunately as advertising picks up doing it so early probably will cost them over 50,000 sales of cross-shopped Ford products before it even shows up. This may be the most relevant new product for Ford in over a decade.
