Rumor on BON that the 3.7 is making 320hp on regular gas.

I don't doubt the numbers, but I do doubt that they were made on regular octane. For reference the new 4.6L DI Lexus V-8 makes 380hp or about 82.5hp/L while the IS350's 3.5L DI V-6 makes 305hp or about 87.5hp/L. At 320hp the 3.7L V-6 mentioned above would be cranking out about 86.5hp/L. Assuming this is a truly world class effort the numbers are about what I would expect and not out of line with the numbers Lexus is getting. But I also expect they were made on premium and not on regular unless this wasn't a production trim engine. (or if it simply isn't true)
