That's all true. But they're not trying to sell both Honda AND Acura versions of the vehicle in the same geographic marketplace, so it hardly counts, since we can't buy a JDM/EU Legend in North America.

Also, Honda has some of the best - if not THE best - executed interiors in the business for the price point. And as luxury sedans go, the RL is one of the best interiors anywhere at any price.

They're ok, but not that great after seeing quite a few used ones. I worked for Acura in 05 and we were already at $1300 below invoice as standard internet price. They are also frequent visitors to service. Its funny that it's one of the cars on the market that nobody wants to buy. TL leather in particular is notoriously bad, I would say the 'normal' Accord has better leather, they wear like iron. TL's also have the dye on interior parts rub off easilly and the 'metal' bits do not fair well either. Not that impressed with the TSX. Best Acuras made are the earler TL(CL)/RL and the RSX was a nice car for the money albeit not really any sort of luxury car. Lexus and Infinity are light years ahead of Acura. Anybody who buys a TL over a G series needs their head examined. There is also a flood of off-lease TL's so they wholesale well below book and are very hard to sell used.

To get back on topic, a Lincoln Flex-based product is still stupid.
