I wanna rebuild my 300 inline six

Its in need of a over haul. It has alot of torque and not so much power. When i go to rebuild it any advice on which parts to use to gain more horse and torque. Theirs alot of parts to choose from but from experince what company is best to go with?

P.S It has 279 839.8 miles on it lol xD

That engine is designed to be a torque monster.
It does very well what it is supposed to.
I'm sure that you can increase the HP with the usual exhaust and intake improvements.
J C Whitney has a 4-barrel conversion from Offy I think.
I'm not sure what else you can find.
Good luck. Its worth rebuilding no matter what.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.

thanks Evil thats what im looking for and Karman yea its a torque monster i raced a chevy ss and beat it. its loud to cause i have straight pipes on it

Do a search for Clifford research. I know they have forged steel rods, plus cam headers, heads various intakes (4bbl, webers, FI).

you can find a lot on the ford six web site... working on my 200 with help from there.
