I wanna rebuild my 300 inline six
Its in need of a over haul. It has alot of torque and not so much power. When i go to rebuild it any advice on which parts to use to gain more horse and torque. Theirs alot of parts to choose from but from experince what company is best to go with?
P.S It has 279 839.8 miles on it lol xD |
how do you move threads on here lmao sorry but need to move this off 2010 mustang :/

That engine is designed to be a torque monster.
It does very well what it is supposed to. I'm sure that you can increase the HP with the usual exhaust and intake improvements. J C Whitney has a 4-barrel conversion from Offy I think. I'm not sure what else you can find. Good luck. Its worth rebuilding no matter what. They don't make 'em like that anymore. |
Moving to 'Other Fords' . . .
And here is a forum to search through. http://fordsix.com/forum/viewforum.p...a98aac3ab13d0b |

hmm anybody make forged internals for a 300?
|
Do a search for Clifford research. I know they have forged steel rods, plus cam headers, heads various intakes (4bbl, webers, FI).

you can find a lot on the ford six web site... working on my 200 with help from there.
