How much do you think...

A MAC cold-air intake would be worth on my (don't laugh) grandmother's '02 Mountaineer? It's the 4.6 PI motor. I figure for 200 bucks it can't hurt.

Not sure if would be more than a drop-in K&N without a tune, but I have no evidence of that.

It's a full, throttle-body forward cold-air intake, for the record. Considering how restrictive the stock system is 7 or 8hp at the wheels doesn't sound too optimistic.
