Boston.com long term test Review of the Fusion

They drove one for 16,000 miles and liked the handling, interior room, interior design and flawless reliability....

"We put a Toyota badge on the front of this Fusion, and let automotive journalists drive it for 16,000 miles and here is what they said before we took off the badging...." Just kidding.

That would be an interesting experiment wouldn't it? Badge the car all in Toyota or Honda emblems and see what the media thinks of the car, then have them drive another one with Ford logos and see if there is a difference. I bet we would be suprised!

I've always wanted to try that test. I know the results would prove that people (and auto journalists) would give the car REALLY high marks for being a Toyota or Honda. But if it were to put the original badging back on, the car wouldn't get those high marks.

that would be great to do but too bad auto journalist probaly know what kind of car it is without badging.

And it would be impossile for a company to develop a car and make a production unit without the public or press knowing.

that trick would only work if it was general public testing the car and i already know the public is byest(spelling). But it would be nice to see how the press is.
