yeah, it's definately a slippery slope, I already dont want all the computer assistance in my car, let me do the driving, if I screw up, then it's a learning experience, and I wont do it again. I think all the rediculous computer assisted suspension, traction control, radar guided cruise control, makes people think they are more capable drivers than they really are, and will turn into a really bad thing

Honestly, I'm all for it. I hate seeing idiot kids driving crazy on the roads near me......and its rather often. I was fortunate enough to learn very shortly after getting my license that driving like that doesnt pay off. But there are a lot of kids who don't. So screw'em......I don't trust anyone on the road, and this just helps me out.
As for the privacy issue.......we have E-Zpass by me for when you go through tolls (i know its called other names elsewhere) and they STARTED to give tickets to people speeding by calculating the times from toll booth to toll booth; BUT stopped because of some privacy issue. So I dont see this "Big Brother" factor coming into play anytime soon.
And if your really that against the Big Brother thing, than I suggest you ditch your cell phones because they basically let "whoever" know exactly where you are; just look at the iPhone's google maps feature and blackberry's etc. Personally I'm indifferent to the matter.

Big Brother Does not Ride in my 60's and 70's Cars. At least not until they start Chipping us like Dogs! It's Coming! I think I read it somewhere. Mark of the Beast they call it.
