After the Land Rover and the Volkswagen won SUV and Car of the Year awards, and they're both well known for poor reliability, I wasn't sure what to expect.

The F series is clearly the best truck out there imo by a long shot. With that said I am so cynical about the top 10 of anything published by anybody. I can make up my own mind. Motor trend after all is the same publication that picked the Chevy Vega as car of the year in 71 and Plymouth Volare in 76. The list goes on of their screw ups over the years. Honest journalism died long ago. Take what you read with a grain of salt and dont get too excited one way or the other.

After watching the torture test on the EB I know what truck I am going to buy in about 5 years, I'd buy one now it I have never and will never buy a truck new.
