Sorry, but yes. It was sold almost a month ago now to the owner (I think) of Prodrive who managed all of its racing efforts.

The general concensus says that this is a good move on behalf of Aston Martin, and hopefully this will hope Aston excel in performance. Somewhere that I'm sure we can agree has not been AM's main focus.

DBX is the latest rumored car, hopefully the Vanquish replacement with 700 horsepower.

DBS will be out probably by the fall of this year.

Ford still owns a portion of AM. 10% I believe.

I thought they own a ton of stock (10% sounds right). Doesn't really give them much actual say in what happens. Just enough hold that another auto manufacturer thinks twice before trying to take it over.

That was the main reason. Ford will still supply engineering resources to AM (mostly for drivetrains I believe).
