and for comparison's sake, the edge interior:

The article says production starts in august. Also, I read elsewhere that lincoln will get two signature grills, the one we see on the zephyr and the egg crate one, which you can see on the exterior shot on TCC.

I'm still not fond of the exterior on either, but maybe I'll end up changing my mind.

The interiors do look nice. I like the flush mount center console much better on the lincoln.

Well at least they didnt use the overly used round HVAC vents on this one!

I think they both look nice. I'm anxious to see what the exteriors look like. In three years the RCO will be up on my Escape. I may add them to my possible replacement list.

WOW!!! The leather on the Aviator looks gorgeous! I love the way the console is set up in the Aviator too. A bit more refined than the Edge. The Edge is more a stylish utilitarian look while the Aviator is pure luxury, the way it should be!

I like that dark wood on the aviator above the glovebox, looks classy. Though i find the tall and skinny vents on the Edge look more upscale than the Aviator's typical vents.
I've realized its too bad ford didn't come out with this car a couple years ago. Cars like the murano and FX35 and the lexus RX haven't had much competition in that segment. I feel like ford's kinda jumping on that wagon a bit late, but at least they are doing something. And it looks like these are gonna be a nice example of what ford can do nowadays.

Yeah, I've seen that one. I was hoping for a front shot. The spyshots of the disguised test mules don't give away much of the styling.
