I have a 04 Sport Trac and I see now the 07 model is totally new. It has an optional 292 HP V-8 same as the Mustang GT but with a cast iron block. I think I would like to have a couple of 3 valve V-8s in my driveway.

I am just curious if any other 05 Mustang owners also drive Ford Explorer Sport Tracs like me and if they are also interested in the all new 07 model coming soon?

2003 SporTrac XTR 4x4

It was a real shock getting back in it to pick up some lumber.
Lumber is a Good Description after the Mustang. <_<

2007 V8 would depend on this SporTrac's Performance,
Been great so far, It's a Ford.

I'd raise my hand but since you've already seen me on MYST announcing myself would be redundant!!

And ya we'd consider trading our 01 ST for a performance 07... one of these days maybe!

I have an 03 Sport Trac and my 06 Mustang GT. LOve both and would upgrade to the SPort TRac with the V8 if I had the cash next year. But the will have to wait...

Jwede, the SportTrac is still going strong and as far as Ford is concerned the SVT version is still a go. There is an Adrenalin version available now but its not the S/C version.

Also the power of the new 4.6 3V is outstanding. In the Explorer its coupled with a six-speed auto and is as smooth as anything.
We haven't recieved any S/T's on the lot yet but as soon as we do I'll let you guys know about them.
