Advice on Trading for 2001 Lightning

Just wanted everyones opinion. I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat SuperCab 4WD, sunroof, power sliding rear window, leather, power seats, ford chrome tubular step bars, soft tonneu cover, chrome brush guard with Chrome PIAA driving lights, and a custom true dual exhaust with xpipe and flowmaster 40s. I am considering trading for this Lightning and was wondering what anyone thinks would be a fair trade. Considering the lightning is no longer in production. I would appreciate everyone comments.

Moving to 'Other Fords' section . . . . but will leave a link for a day.

As far as trading . . . two different animals. If you utilize your Lariat as a 4x4 than trading wouldn't make much sense. However, if you don't use the 4x4, don't haul, or tow (or course one can haul/tow with a Lightning) than sure trade away . . . .

I would keep Lariat.

Lightning cost too much for 7 year old vehicle.

Be aware that the lightning will most likly use a lot more gas, and things like tires are prob more expensive and not last as long being performance tires...which also means will not do well in the snow unless you do seasonal changeout on tires too.

That Lightning has probably led a fairly rough life for the past 7 years. I personally wouldn't do it. Who knows what its been through.

Well I really appreciate everyones input. They were only going to give me 17000 for my truck. I know its always best to sell it yourself, but my gosh.. I'm not going to give it away. I mean I have a nice truck. I want a lightning but I don't want it that bad. Especially for a 7 year old truck. Thanks again!!!
