5.4L V8 power ratings revealed for 2009 Ford F-150
A new process of fuel injection called 'open valve technology' will give the 5.4L V8 a bump in horsepower from 300 to 320 and increase torque from 365 pound-feet to 390.

Nice but just a bandaid until the real engine line up arrives. 2010, 400+hp and prob same mpg.

Ford should tune it for 350 HP / 370 lb ft and stick it in a 2010 Mustang SE as a band-aid until the 5.0 arrives.
