Range anxiety? Don't sweat it. This is a bit of a niche product, but with the tax credits it becomes rather reasonable. Perhaps Ford should be nervous that it's not making enough of the cars.

The price should go down as battery tech progresses.

This is true. Plus as they make more prices should fall. Hopefully the government keeps up the subsidies because otherwise I dont see many people paying list price.
