Kinda looks like an Impala to me. That black plastic on the bottom cheapens the car IMO. They will lose customers just to that fact alone.

Its a fancy interior for Toyota. Compare it with other cars in class, like Chrysler 300C or Mercury Sable, and you'll see how nicer Avalon's interior is.
