I like it! However, there is a bit of a resemblence to the previous gen Camry in the front.

At least it doesn't look like Cavalier anymore.

I think all three look great! If had need of a wagon, I'd buy this one for sure.

Looks like Mazda is getting more of the Ford Europe Kinetic Design... very nice. When will the MazdaSpeed6 hit is the real question?

A fantastic looking car to be sure. But I question the value of Mazda as just one more player in the 'world platform' stage. Mazda is quickly becoming a Japanese version of what Mercury once was and I am just not certain that putting a Kimono on a Ford is the best way to use the Mazda brand. Particularly when you consider Volvo's recntly assumed position as Ford of Europe's 'Lincoln' for lack of a better comparison.

When you consider that the CD3 platform (Fusion/Milan/MKZ) was based on the original Mazda6, I don't really see this as "putting a Kimono on a Ford".

I don't agree at all. Merc's problem was that it was, for most of its life, simply another trim level. You felt like MERC should have been an option box you could check at the Ford dealership. Mazda and Volvo using the basic platform as a starting point still create vastly different products. Take the CX-9 for example: noone I've heard from has ever said "oh its an Edge with more options," yet they share the same basic platfor and basic engine package. Why? Becuase they're not the same, even with the shared platform and engine. Thats what Merc should have been years ago, and some day may be.

very nicely put.....but now it seems that it might be too late for mercury to do anything about it. Im still pulling for them though.....my dads first car was a 1967 cougar, and i would kill to be able to own a new cougar if they ever decided to remake it, properly that is. It wouldnt hurt to see a new marauder either

Mazda is one of the few brands Ford is handling exactly as I would. Theirs are solid products in every way.

That looks great! I need 2 or 3 more jobs so I can afford all the cars I want in my garage.

Yep, but take another look at that stance and overall profile and tell me how much new Mondeo you see in there. I'll bet dollars to donuts this car has nothing to do with CD3 and that there is an EUCD chassis underneath that body.

Are you saying a new Mazda sedan shouldn't use Ford's new state of the art global sedan platform? This car is exactly what a Mazda should be.

Nope. I believe it's CD3.
