does anyone know where i can get a reprint/copy of my window sticker for my 2003 gt? i bought it used and i cannot find it with the paperwork.
address? phone number? anything?

 

I heard someone say that if you go to the dealer and show them the VIN you can get almost anything you want.

 

talked to dealer today. both parts and sales. they are clueless on how to get a window sticker. are they just dumb or just avoiding the hassle.
ive only bought 8 cars from them since 1994. thought about mustang monthly also, any thoughts?

 

please post if you were able to somehow get the window sticker, I too have tried to get window stickers for both of my stangs with no luck. Dealers seem to be a dead end

 

A longshot but maybe posting something over at Blue Oval News - maybe someone might come up with an answer there?

 

Good news to those who want one: Mustang Enthusiast had posted an article awhile back about this issue. You have to talk to the ORIGINAL selling dealership (specifically the person that deals with all the paperwork). Make sure you ask for the MONRONEY sticker.

the bad news: your car can only be but so old...I think about 2 or 3 yrs old.

I was able to get one for my 05 about 8 months after it was originally sold. What happens is that it's THE window sticker, and the date in the lower part is actually the date printed. So, unless you actually know what you're looking for, no one would even know it was a reprint.

ill try some of the advise you all supplied. i need to do some research to find out where the stang was sold. i think somewhere in PA. i am about the 3rd or 4th owner...not sure which one. hope i wont be too late!!!

 

Get an Oasis report run on the car...that should tell you who the original dealer was.
