Thumbs up

I found this on ebay. It's not up anymore. But I contacted the guy. He says it's a 99 Saleen. He only wants $6600 for it. It's got 15k miles. And I know I have seen it before but can't figure out where necause I have some of the same pictures saved to my hd. I am trying to determin if it's a hoax or the real deal. Any help here would be appraciated. Thanks guys.

Here's a couple more pixs.

May not be a fake. There's a 1999 mystic Saleen, number 99-0334, on the Saleen Registry. The photo on the registry shows chrome wheels. The car was registered back in 2002. The eBay photos show an extra (Saleen?) badge above the 35th pony on the quarter.

I have to say that is the worst looking color I've ever seen. Maybe if it was a womans car I could understand why they might like it......then again nope I wouldn't understand! lol

Im not doubting the car is legit, I am doubting the seller. People steal pics all the time and use on ebay, and for 6600, someone is dumb enough to pay that buy it now and they'll never see a car.

LoL! Ebay should post a rule saying that you should only click buy it now if it's a power seller... anything else is a waste of $$$

That car was on ebay twice legitimately, and about 8 times they were frauds.

There's always these folks who hate cars (and/or colors) they can't afford... ANYways, the hot Saleen pictured is worth at least $30,000 since the paintjob alone (called Extreme Rainbow, which is color-shifting) costs $16,000 by itself.

If you can afford such a car, be aware that damage to the paint will require ultra-expensive paint and repair techniques to get it to match. Of course, if you have the money, who cares -- go all out!
