Which tranny do I have
Hey, I'm needing to get a new Manual transmission for my 04 V6. It'll probably have to be used.
I was thinking that there was a tranny change during the 99-04 model years, and couldn't remember what the change was or if it was MT or AT or both.
Anyone know what tranny is in the 04 V6. Also, will any 99-04 tranny work? If not, which years are compatible with the 2004?
Oh, and it is an early 04 that still had the 3.8, if that makes a difference
(Mods, please leave this in the open section, V8 guys sometimes have the best knowledge.THX)

T-45's were used from 94-04 on the V6's.
In late 2001 they switched GT's from T-45's to TR3650's. So watch which one you decide to pursue, unless you plan on taking whatever other components switched between those years as well.
