Seems to be a few other tire and wheel threads going on so I thought I would add to the list. Tires are really not the question. Will be getting something that is affordable and long lasting and descent. Wheels on the other hand I cant decide. Currently, I have the stock '02 Anthracite Buillit Rims. Love the look. I am looking to up their size to 18x9 all around so I am still able to rotate and balance them. Will be going Deep Dish but cant decide to either keep the Anthracite look or go with a black center. My car is black.

I know the anthracite is the safe bet since I know I like them, but how would you think the black center with the silver lip, deep dish look instead? I just cant decide. :bang:

Thanks Guys/Girls in advance.

Go with black centers, looks awesome on black cars. Looks a bit more subtle than big flashy chrome rims too. Thats my two cents anyways

The anthracite offers a nice contrast you lose with the black. My personal choice would be 17 x 9s paired with 275 40/ZR17s. The handling and ride improves while the 18" improves the handling but sacrifices the ride comfort.

18" wheels would make sense if you have in mind to replace the rotors with 14" in the front and 13" in the rear. If the stock rotors are kept, the gap with the 18" wheels will be quite noticeable.

Yeah, finally found some black cars on mustangtuning.com with black centers

Now that I know I am going black, got to decide on whether to keep the Bullit style or go the FR500 look. Both of them look really good.

But definitely going black now.

True, but probably like most of us here, we plan for the future. If I can afford it, I will go ahead and put bigger rotors in. If not, I will just do it down the road. A small sacrafice in look for the moment but able to live with for now.

After spendin much of my morning browsing and comparing...I think I am going 18" all around with 9's in front and Deep Dish 10's in back. Have not done research on tires yet but will look into what you mentioned.

Thanks

Deep dish rims look amazing but the tires for the 18s are gonna be pricey. Bullitt and FR500 both look awesome
