For those that have aftermarket headlights
I'm wondering if you could post some pics and where you got them. Currently I have black covers, but when I'm at shows and my hood lifted, you can see the real ugly factor lights behind the covers. I'm looking for something fairly dark tinted.
I don't need to know where to buy them, I just need some members pics and where they were purchased so I can decided based on the looks of them on your car. A lot of sites have just the headlights pictured and not on any car, so it's hard to tell how dark they are really tinted. Thanks!

I don't have after market headlights, but it is on my list of things to do. I have decided on the lights I want from americanmuscle.com. Check it out, because they have a lot of customer pictures of the headlights installed on the cars. They even had a pic of the lights I chose on a white Cobra so I got a pretty good idea.
I currently have Blue Oval's smoked lights in my car. For the actual lights, I have HIDGuy 4300 HID's. They were about my 3rd setup I've bought. These blows the others out of the water!! Best & smartest mod I have prob done!
Here are the HID's:

Here are my lights in the day:

Stock, building is prob 25' away?:

Those new bulbs:

Just of my lights:

Not sure why they are blue in 1 pic & that in the other? The other is correct. Think my camera just brought that out? Both taken the same night.
I have there 893 Fog kit to go in. My cheapo Walmart bulbs melted the housings! Can't afford to buy new lights. They are in the 4300, too.

My stock right side headlight is pretty bad off from the sun, but I really dont want to change them at all, this is by far and away the best headlights I've had in any vehicle I've ever driven!
Try this to clean them up.
We use it at work for the trucks and I have used it at home. It lasts about a year and then you have to do it again. But it looks pretty good when done. Just take your time and the better you sand them the better they look.

Oh yeah! No matter what housing you end up buying, do this!! I got some Clear TRV Silicone Adhesive Sealant. I went over every spot where the factory seal was! Mine still look brand new. It just keeps the moisture out & that keeps them turning inside.
I put it on brights and then they get to what should be normal
