Skylar's 2004 Mach 1
I want to know how the guy before me passed his inspections. I'll see what they say about it tomorrow.
Well it passed. The only thing he told me was "Technically I'm not supposed to pass you with the windows like that (tinted). So if you get pulled over, tell them you put that on after you bought it"
I've had two Machs both were autos and yes I would say it helps. If you had a manual I would probably say no. Just be careful with the shift point adjustment. And with any auto Mach be careful of full throttle shifts into OD.
I still don't know how my car passed inspection without cats. They plugged the computer into the car underneath the steering wheel and it still passed. Does this mean there might be a tune already on the car that tells the computer that I still have cats? If I got an SCT/Bama tune would I fail my inspection next time?

if it's got MIL's (Malfunction Indicator Light) Eliminators like these, the computer thinks all is fine as long as the O2 sensor is actually working, I need to get some myself.

and also, yeah, that's plenty of room. Just be careful over speed bumps (obviously) and steep transitions, like with driveways and the ramps between floors of parking garages.

also I believe it's illegal for a dealership to sell a car with no cats so you can hold that over their head.
