But it sounds sooo good
I want to know how the guy before me passed his inspections. I'll see what they say about it tomorrow.

My 04 GT never had any problem passing with no cats also I believe it's illegal for a dealership to sell a car with no cats so you can hold that over their head.

Well it passed. The only thing he told me was "Technically I'm not supposed to pass you with the windows like that (tinted). So if you get pulled over, tell them you put that on after you bought it"

Haha as long as I don't run over anything bigger than a soda can, I'll be alright.

Does anyone think an sct tuner is worth the money? Would it hurt my gas mileage any? My car is an automatic btw.

I've had two Machs both were autos and yes I would say it helps. If you had a manual I would probably say no. Just be careful with the shift point adjustment. And with any auto Mach be careful of full throttle shifts into OD.

Doesnt the tuner adjust the shift points?

I still don't know how my car passed inspection without cats. They plugged the computer into the car underneath the steering wheel and it still passed. Does this mean there might be a tune already on the car that tells the computer that I still have cats? If I got an SCT/Bama tune would I fail my inspection next time?

if it's got MIL's (Malfunction Indicator Light) Eliminators like these, the computer thinks all is fine as long as the O2 sensor is actually working, I need to get some myself.

and also, yeah, that's plenty of room. Just be careful over speed bumps (obviously) and steep transitions, like with driveways and the ramps between floors of parking garages.

The tuner allows you to adjust shift points and firmness so yes that's why I recommend getting it for your auto. Like I said though just be careful of full throttle shifts into OD, it won't take many to kill your trans.

I have to go over the ramp in my school's parking garage at like 1mph not to scrape. I don't know what kind of springs he put on it but I can feel every bump on the road.
