new rear brakes, Mach 1 chin spoiler and grille delete on the way

I have a new deadline for things: June 1st, 2011. Why that date? Because me and my friend of many years decided last night we're doing Hot Rod Power Tour. I have some work to do to make her look good, run great and sound amazing but she will be done. This is a major thing on both our bucket lists

Good luck man. I know as well as you do that she can run like hell, but she could use a new coat.

Ok, Project Power Tour is kicking off. I did some brain-storming with my homie today and this is a 100% go on both our fronts. I got a list of things going to accomplish before departing on the journey in May 2011:

- Rear brakes
- new front control arms
- heater core
- fix a/c (small leak somewhere)
- tune!!!
- reg
- body work (new fenders, repaint, retint windows)

I may quiet down teh exhaust abit to make it tolerable. If time and funds permit, replace the seats as well.

rear brakes will be crossed off the list tomorrow. Also picked up a heater core from the parts department at work today. Same time I replace that, I'm gonna replace the carpet and Dyna-Mat the floor. **** long tubes put off alot of heat

ok, so problem. Or not a problem

I ran a boroscope through #7 and #8 cylinders and there's no damage to the block or pistons. The valvetrain shows good movement, but from the looks of it, the valves aren't closing all the way. Plus there is alot of build up on them. ALOT!

I'm thinking along with a heavy-line tech from work that the heads are jacked and she may just need heads. Only true way is to pull the head and find out

not much in terms of progress. I have a rim swap pending this week, switching the bronze for black. What style is to be determined.

pulled the old tint off, probably get the new tint done later this month or next month.

I'm gathering parts for the heater core job. Same time the dash is out I'm gonna lay some dynamat to get rid of the heat from the headers, replace the carpet and score some summit seats

New fog lights really make a difference. Wait 'till you put on the new headlights.
