Projectors and HID's

Anybody upgrade to Projectors Headlight Housing and HID's? Looking for input....Do you like them? Have any recommendations?

I have HID's on my '08 and it is much easier to see, so looking at options to upgrade my '99.

A retrofit is the best (although not the cheapest) way to go.

I have thought about this myself, and decided that if I'm going to do it I want to do it right. However, like he said above it is not cheap. Check out the link below.

Wow, thanks for the link. Lots of good info in there. Of course, I was hoping it would be as simple as picking up the following:

Those types of aftermarket 'projectors' are poor quality and still use Halogen bulbs.

A DIY retrofit or a shop that does so is the real solution.

I have a set in for an HID conversion right now.

Out of curiosity, how much did it run to get the conversion done?

I've seen $600-$900 depending on parts used, etc.

My conversion is currently at about $500 with Valeo V1 projectors and custom shrouds. Should have them back very soon.

I honestly would love to do it, but it is just so dang expensive to do right.
