Yup. Just got my email from Doug. Looking forward to getting that tune installed.

Received the new tunes from Doug. Installed the new 93-octane torque tune. No detectable detonation. Very noticeable difference in torque and the mannerisms of the car. Still need to test the 93-octane performance tune. Does anyone know if you really need to remove the two fuses (as SCT mentions in the packaging documents) every time you install a tune?

All good now

I tested out both the 93-performance and 93-torque SCT tunes from Bamachips last weekend. Both are very, very nice. It's going to take me a while to see which one I'm going to leave on the car semi-permanent. The installation hardware/software is really easy to use. I highly recommend Bamachips and their SCT XCalII tunes. Within one week; installing the new 3.73 gears, the underdrive pulleys and the new tune, the car feels like a different beast altogether.

I will admit I'm hearing a little more noise at low speeds from the rear-end and clutch when shifting, but it was not exactly smooth to begin with. The clutch/transmission was always noisy.

Followed a guy in a SN95 Cobra the other day (think it was 305hp stock) and was hoping that he'd get on his car a little to help me gauge where I'm at. Unfortunately the traffic was a little bit heavy and I think he had his girl in the car with him. The thing was probably not 305 hp any more though because it sounded vicious.

Good, i had a feeling it was in the tune that you had received or something. Glad to know Doug was able to get you straightened out.

Bamachips SCT tune need to be updated for MRT H-pipe addition?

Doug,
In the spring, I plan on dumping the stock H-pipe w/4 cats for a MRT H-pipe w/2 high-flow cats. Will I need to have my BamaChips SCT tune modified to accomodate the extra airflow, or will it most likely work fine, without any knocking?

P.S. I pulled that 93-torque tune off the other day for my emissions test. Boy, what a difference. After I passed, I put that tune back on about 100 yards from the emissions testing station. What a noticeable improvement.

When I put my SLP catted X-pipe on my 01 GT, I dynoed it soon after. A/F ratio didn't change and no CEL, so I didn't retune. Car had noticable increase in pick-up when romped on. Sounds great too.
