Port and Polish Heads

As some of you may know I have a 2004 GT. Im currently wroking on the suspension but that will end soon. I think it would be time to go back to HP gains. I want to make 300whp, i think I'll be happy with that. (by happy i mean that'll be a decision to buy a new mustang or not). I was thinking UDPs, a cam, and p&p. anyone with experience in that area? price, bang for buck, etc... I dont know much on the p&p experience. i know how its done, but i dont know what the desired measurements are or other details.

Current power mods:

Steeda CAI
BBK 78mm TB
LT headers
Cat Gutted H pipe
Flowmaster CatBack
Steeda Tune

runs pretty strong 260whp 289wtq (if my memory serves me well)

Gasket matching especially the exhaust ports, carefull how match matching/ cleaning you do on the intake side or your run the risk of killing the low end. going beyond gasket matching requires more than just going at the ports with a dremel tool. smoothing, bowl work, straightning etc can go to hell quick and turn a perfectly good set of heads into junk really quick. I sent my heads out and you would be amazed at what skilled professional porter can do.

Forget the UDPs and do h/c/I. Ill have to look up the specs on the heads. I know you don't want to go more the .020 over (they are rated for .030 but .020 gives you some wiggle room if you need to do it again down the road).

It's bang for the buck man. How much are you willing to spend to get the power you want? And then you have to start considering upgrading vehicles completely. My recommendation would be a small supercharger.
