I removed the tape about a min after the last coat.

It doesn't quite work that well that way. Because its so stretchy, when to try and slice it when its not on a hard surface, it will just stretch more, and after it has been peeled, it doesn't like to stick back on (though some people online say the re liquefier thing works pretty well, but I've never used it personally so I cant say for sure). The best way is as mentioned above, peeling before its totally dry. Thats what I plan on next time (I X-acto'd on the car, good thing I have to do that so much already for school lol)

The exception being things like emblems, just spray all over those and peel when dry; the tight radius of the body panel to emblem will tear it pretty perfectly.

Yeah if you have a area masked off and you plan to pull the tape off you would pull the tape off immediately after the last coat of plasti dip and always pulling the tape towards you(or else you won't get straight, smooth lines)
