Plasti dipped Mach 1 hood

I re dipped my hood because first time I did it the peeling off the tape messed up but this time, I got perfect straight lines.

I am very happy with it. Let me know what you think.

Also plastidipped my friends Azure blue Mach 1 (on his he wanted to try and not go as wide)

A little too much black on the hood for my taste, but it looks like you did a good job. I noticed the Azure Mach 1 has louvers on it. Do you have any other pictures of it where you can see the back? I'm thinking about putting some on my Azure Mach.

I honestly use to think the same thing when I first saw it done like that, then after a couple of months I saw it done and it looked great, for around $20 I tried it, came out pretty good and drove it for a couple of weeks it really grew on me! I feel it gives the front end a mean looks. But to each his own.

Louvers would look great by the way!

I'm going that paint style with my V6/Cobra hood.

I'm pretty much copying this cobra.

It holds up pretty good I've used some and it never started to peel ( had it on for about 4 months then took it off)

my hood still looks great and I did the lip of my bumper, since I scrape everywhere in this city, and its honestly holding up better than the paint in that area at this point

when is the correct time to remove the tape??? i tried this when i painted the decklid but i had to use a cutter to separate the plastidip from the tape. i wouldn't like to do that to the hood.

M. U could pull the tape up slightly where the plasty dip stretches and cut the stretched plasti dip without ever touching ur car with the blade. The plasti dip bungees back in place. Unless I miss understood
