What I've been told is they really don't do much more if at all. I have set and didn't put them on bc they were hollow. I went with the griggs set instead mostly bc they were solid all the way through.

I had all of my suspension kit on for years with exception to the SFCs. It was amazing how much more responsive the chassis felt after putting them on. I loved them.

Only took me two years to buy them, and another year and a half to bring them to get welded on. Incredible difference. I would have never believed it had I not experienced it myself. I would go for the XL version. My thought is, if you have to think about it, go for the "better" ones. I hate buying something and constantly wondering "what if" save yourself the hassle and just bite the bullet, better to just do it once.

Ripped off the Cobra badges and threw on some tri-bars today. Will post pics as soon as my car gets cleaned again, but as of tonight I think they look awesome.
