New pony in the stable
Picked this up today. The S197 needed a friend....
2003 GT. Has BBK Cold air, throttle body and inlet, ceramic headers and some wicked cat-backs. Sounds real good.
I wish the weather was nice so i could clean it up good and get a family photo with Shadowfax.

Got a good look underneath today. Headers backed by Bassani x pipe and cat backs with 4 inch pipes. Steeda springs and rear swaybar. Shocks look stock, but caster/camber plates up front. BBK Cold Air with Professional Power throttle body and inlet. Stock gears, but the rumor from the dealer was a B&M 2800 Stall installed. Don't know how to verfy that.
I'm happy with her. Just bought some all-season tires and a set of 17 inch FR500 replicas for winter use.

Just hold her down on the street and bring up the RPM's until the tires break loose and you'll know if you have the stall converter installed. My auto breaks loose at 1600 with stock components.

That looks really nice & clean ! I'm not asking what you paid for it , but what kinda of bucks should one expect to PAY for a clean unit like that ? I need another one !

I ain't ashamed. I paid $7900. It booked for 10.5. I figure the aftermarket upgrades were gravy. There is another similar 04 in town with 18" replica Razors at a dealer listed for 12.5.
