What to mod?

So I am 350 dollars deep in money that I want to spend on my car. And all of it is burning huge a huge hole in my bank account. The problem I'm seeing though, is that I really can't get a "complete package" by any stretch of the imagination with that.

What I'm thinking is that I could save up for a few different packages, or jump in and buy a piece of said "package."

Let me know what you guys think, but when I do suspension stuff like springs, shocks and c/c plates I want them all at the same time. Same with intake heads and a cam.

But, I have Arin's old front a arms that supposedly reduce the turning radius of my car 10% which would be useful in everyday situations, and these are the rear lower control arms I want to get from Steeda. As you can tell, I'm taking the "go big or go home" approach when it comes to suspension bits. But that would eat up all of my disposable money. This is where I'm leaning right now.

VOTE FOOs

I'd say go with suspension work first, since it makes a huge difference on how the car behaves in the street. You can start by adding urethane sway bar bushings, struts, shocks & quad shocks. Also do some research on springs, since they make the "suspension" part and make a major role in the overall handling thing. I saw in 50resto Bullit springs f/s

The Bullit kit looks like a good deal for $499

Also upgrading the brakes is highly recommended since they really suck in the first place

Would I need to get C/C plates with the Bullitt kit since it's supposed to lower my car about an inch? I just want to be safe before I start messing with suspension stuff.

I've got the Eibach Pro-Kits on mine. It lowered it about an 1"-1.5". I also bought FRPP C/C Plates from Summit. I'd do the suspension, I don't know much though!

You got me there. You should contact them to be sure. Also, check sn95forums suspension threads. Many people there have done almost every suspension combination onto our cars.

Looks like we all agree...

Pete, I don't think you'd need CC plates for the Mach/Bullitt springs since its a factory setup, and like you said, only an inch of lowering.

Your car is going to ride so nice after the full mach suspension is put on

My engine runs really smooth as is, and even with how many miles are on it I think that the problem will more likely be sensors than the block itself.

I just cut a deal with a guy for a set of Mach 1 springs for 70 bucks to my door. He said he would either ship them, or just drive them out, whichever was cheaper. Sounded like a really good guy.

After that I'm looking for a set of shocks/struts off a Mach to match. I found a new set for near 300, which isn't too bad, but if I can find "almost new" for cheaper, I'm going that route.

Use KYB's. They're a prettyu good shock for the money. I've used them on my Mazda for three years w my stock & lowering springs and they're still holding pretty well. I highly recommend them. I've installed them on some of my family & friends cars and are very happy with them.
