More horsepower in a 1996 v6
Or 2 more cylinders. But I know money is tight in times now. Gears, intake, tune, and exhaust could probably be the best for cheap.
With my v6 'maro I wanted to get it faster. I put so much money into getting "quick" I could've bought a z28. I saved alllll my money and bought my 5.0. Best investment ever. The v6 is my commuter and at 8 is my weekend car.

8.8 rear with gears (I would go 4.10s but that's just me), Windstar intake swap, longtube headers, o/r h-pipe, and whatever mufflers you choose would be a good start.

I think I remember seeing something about the Eaton from the 03-4 Cobra as being an easier swap.

This is a write up for a swap on a 94. He even recommends getting the whole motor from a SC.

If blown is the goal, go for a vortech or procharger. But if staying N/A, do what I said.
