The whistling should just be the more air being sucked in through the crack between the hood and the fender! Most people like that sound!

The CAI you bought, does it fit into the fender or just sit in the bay still?

With the ones going into the fender well you also have a bigger chance of getting water sucked into it, whole reason I won't buy one of them.

Short of taking out one headlight, its the only halfway safe way to get cold air. Not having it in the fender well or under the bumper makes it an even more pointless mod.

Mine won't be in the fenderwell, but I will be getting air from there. I am using a c&l intake tube, and jlt heat shield.
