Mach 1 Blower
I've got a question for my Mustang friends. I have a 2004 Mach 1 and am thinking of putting a blower on it. If I did this, would my shaker still function or would it be just for show? thanx for the help
The Pro-Charger system is the only system designed to sort of keep the shaker functional . . . but it doesn’t do a very good job, and in fact many people on the Mach1Registry don’t even install the piece that is used in a functional manner.
CDC fabricated a workable system for their Mach 1 with a 2003 Cobra motor. I have called CDC to ask if they intended to manufacturer their set-up and the answer I received was, “no”. (Their setup would seem to work with the Kenne Bell Blower as well.)
Many people will argue that the shaker doesn’t really work anyway, so who cares. I know it doesn’t really work until @80mph, but nonetheless I’d like to keep mine functional.
