Looking for Rims

Hey all,

I am just pokeing around the internet and wondering what are some sites who have just mostly rims for mustangs? maybe even rims and tires. I am looking for mostly an all black orginal or all pollished rim for my 04. Any idears? Also do the Rims that are Corba actually fit on GTs?

I have rims that are nicked from curbs. They are starting to show wear.

Mark

And look great!
www.mustangtuning.com is a nice site for wheels. They have a great selection of mustang and saleen rims and tires. They're not FFRP wheels, so they're a lot cheaper than the Ford wheels, but are still of good quality. Good luck with the hunt.

I am thinking of actually get the rims i have re-done in all black or black chrome. Is there some1 in NJ/PA who possibly does this that i can talk to about it? The silver strip wont look good with my theme.

If the nicks on the rim are small, they can be filed or sanded down, then the wheel could be repainted in whatever color you want. If you send the wheels to a chroming shop, they will probably dip them in copper (?) to fill the imperfections before they chrome the wheel. I don't think it's cost-effective to do that though - you'd be better off buying new.

If you do decide to paint or chrome the wheels, check them closely for flat spots from potholes first. You don't want to put time/money into wheels that should be replaced anyway.

IMO, chrome wheels look like poo. Too much 'bling bling' for a mustang. But hey, whatever floats your potato...

If you go to tirerack.com you can enter what your car is, and they will pop up a big list of wheels that will fit.
