Looking at a new exhaust system, unsure what to do. Full system, stock headers? Have some money to spend but not a great deal. Want a nice meaty sound!! Have been recomended Borla system because great fit with no need for adjustments. Any advise folks, possible sound clips from your systems would be an awesome help also. Car is 02 GT with CAI and chip (that i know of, could be more under hood).

I have Magnaflow cat-back, and catted-X, and I love the sound. It is relatively easy to bolt up.

You can go to http://www.mustangexhaust.com/ for sound clips, and see what sound you're looking for.

I know he mentioned headers......does Magnaflow make headers? It seems like I heard that a company makes headers for them, but they just doesn't carry the Magnaflow name............maybe I'm way off.

Looking at SLP Xpipe O/R to start then SLP Loudmouth II catback. With the O/R setup is that emission passable with inspection?? Will this lose me some low end torque due to loss of backpressure?

Should make her rumble.

Anyhting O/R means it removes the catalytic converters and no it will not pass emissions. Well with a few tricks it might, but if they look, you are toast. If you are worried about Emissions, stick with a catted pipe.
