The car next to you is a '67 coupe. Nice looking Mach by the way.

Yeah, the owner emailed me earlier('67). It has a 460, and a C6 trans. Very nice ride! He wanted to see how his orange compared to my orange. (Insert joke.)

Nice Mach 1. Wish I could have been there (kinda a long drive). It looks like a great gathering and nice weather.
I still feel we got screwed. Bad weather, no 05..... :bang:

Well, I too have been bitten by the Modification Bug. After Jeffrey's bug infected him with Borla Stingers I thought I was not far behind. However the shifter bug got me first and this is what happened.
Tri-Ax shifter with Hurst Stick and Handle with an oval Rubber boot. I can not say how much I love this combo. Looks and shifts incredible. Took about 1 1/2 hours, ( I was taking my time) but went rather easy. Almost as easy as I remember with my Capri.
Oh yeah . . . I think I am coming down with Stinger Fever! Only one way to cure it!!

Thank you. I purchased the Tri-Ax from MRT (Mustang Racing Technology), mustangracing.com, purchased the handle from Mr. Gasket/Hurst, and the stick, boot from Colorado Mustangs. (The stick, boot, and black ball handle(not used) come in a package. I had wanted to purchase just the boot, since I have not found another oval boot, but Colorado Mustangs would only sell as a package.)
And yes it does shift better. I used the top two holes in the Tri-aw so the throws are only a little shorter than stock, but it shifts AWESOME! I placed two rubber washers between the stick and the shifter to reduce noise. It is louder, but to me sounds like a shifter out of a road racing car, only quieter.
I took her out today and got on her pretty hard 1-2-3 shifts, and there is a world of difference!

Does look great! I've considered doing something similiar as well, but I've held off since the exhaust. My biggest problem with stock (and it's not a big gripe) is that it feels a little notchy sometimes.

Well my Fiancee was backing up the Mach from the Garage to water flowers . . .comes back inside to inform me the Mach has a CRACK in the windshield!!
~2500 miles and a darn CRACK! What are you gonna do?! The crack starts in the blacked-out portion of the windshield about 3/4 down on the drivers side (The actual start is the size of a pinhead!!) and has begun to curve down towards the cowl.
That's why we have insurance. I just hope the windshield gets replaced with a OEM specific windshield. I want my Mustangs logos!! I haven't had an insurance claim in over 8 years!
Sorry to vent, and it could be worse!

AGH!
I'd insist on a windshield specific to the Stang. Plus, with the Mach being an SE, you don't want to hurt the long-term supposed value (at least that's the excuse you could use )
Hope you get it worked out, and they fix you up right.

That shoots. But you're right, it could be worse (such as a dent).
I'd like to solve the clue game: Capri's wife in the garage with a potted plant.

Sounds like the scene in "A Christmas Story" with the leg lamp major award. After Mrs. Parker 'accidentally' breaks the lamp while watering her flowers, and then telling Mr. Parker they were out of glue, Mr. Parker spits out, "You used up... all the glue... on PURPOSE!!" Hahahaha... my favorite even after seeing it 200 times.

So true
My mom was moving a folding chair from a shelf in the garage and left a nice divot in the hood of her taurus.
No ladders near my Mustang... that's for sure

It's disappointing but no big deal. Your insurance company should cover it without a deductible. I would not take it to a Ford dealer, but a proffesional shop that specializes in auto glass business.
