New Hurst Stick and Black Ball are on and I LOVE it!! No, ZERO, issues with knuckles hitting the radio and shorter shifts to boot!!

I'll post a couple (cleaner) photos later.

Steeda 2pt Brace to be installed soon.

Hey Tony! . . . I don't notice any extra noise vs the previous stick/t-handle. It is louder than stock (but I like it more because it is a little noisier), but not annoying. I also put a piece of rubber between the stick and shifter in between the bolts that seems to aid in noise and rattle reduction.

What are you doing with the old stick? I might be interested if it can fit the stock shifter, and the price is right. You know it's taking up too much garage space.

I'm keeping it. You never know . . . . I might decide to go back to the older setup someday. And if one were to use my old setup on a stock shifter I imagine the throws would be extra long.

Haha, well here's my problem. I bought a Roush shift **** for cheap, since I didn't like the stock one, and now the boot doesn't reach all the way up to the ****. Well it can it just won't stay. Trying to think of a way to make it stay (only thought is to put a lock nut to keep the shift ball facing the right way, and another one pressing from the underside of the boot to clamp the boot between the two) or replace it (shift lever) with something decorative, so I don't have to worry about how far the boot slides down.

OK, my lazy a** should have the Strut Tower Brace installed this week. I am trying to decide to tap the holes or use the supplied nuts/washers . . . I think I am going to tap.

Go for the nuts.My brace came with some 8.8 metrics that I tossed and got some
grade 8s instead.

I was thinking if I tapped the holes to upgrade the bolts from Steeda as an added precaution. I figure even if I tap the holes I still can use the nuts for added insurance.
