Evil_Capri's 2004 Mach 1
Thanks for the info on the wheel weight reduction, rather interesting.
I thought of the lessened steering rack load myself, but the other two benefits eluded me. Thats a pretty sweer deal

Just In Time For Christmas . . .
A nice speeding ticket today!!
Driving around with my friend with his GTO and my Mach and we both got caught by the Smokey!!
Oh well . . . . my first one in about 15 years.
. . . think Santa has time to get me a Valentine One?!?!
Little late today, but could save me from a future incident! Suppose I could obey all speed limits as well.

Mach Updates . . . First For '08
Got a couple of little items coming in the next week for the Mach.
1. Finally got a 2pt Steeda Strut Tower Brace.
2. New Hurst shifter 'stick' and ball.
I ordered the Hurst Stick that the '05+ guys are running (236 7201) and the 5-Speed Hurst Blackball (163 0108). The stick is ~2" shorter and doesn't have as much of an angle.
For those that care this is my current setup . .

And that's a Steeda Tri-Ax under the oval boot. I hope I like the new setup. The one above just doesn't flow with the car as much with the BBS Rims. Plus the shifts should be shorter . . . although there is a chance my knuckles will be meeting the radio on the 3 & 5 shifts.
More to follow . . .

Do let us know how the knew stick works out
The Hurst stick is one of my favorite mods and it really brings out the interior.
I'm waiting til I upgrade my shifter to get me one of those

definitely make sure you dont have and moisture on your hands when you hit third or you will have flesh meet dash, dash meet flesh! LOL i have a similar handle and shift **** to what you are doing. i your hand will definitely be close to the dash
Hey Jason, my dad just bought an azure blue 03 Mach yesterday. He's wanting to get involved in my little hobby. He might get here this weekend. If so, I'll get some group photos of the stangs.
Strut Tower Brace should also be here this week.
Also drove my dad's Mach1 and he drove mine. We both agreed that they both seem pretty even in straightline performance and that his rides softer than either of my cars (a good thing for a 67 year old man).
