Long term goal is to hit at least 330 rwhp some time within the next 20 years of my life

Haven't yet but I'd guess somewhere around 270 or so. So maybe a goal of 300 rwhp would be a little more realistic?

In 20 years you could save for supercharger and have 400+rwhp

I just said 20 years cause i have no plans on getting rid of her. I might go to FI but I hardly know anything about how long the stock block or internals on the cars will last with a supercharger at 6-8psi

6-8psi is seems doable on stock internals, but I'm no expert.

My brothers bullitt runs a non-intercooled vortech at 9psi and has made 379rwhp. If you are planning on running stock pulley than the non-intercooled one should be fine. Should make just under 400rwhp.

You'll see around 20-30rwhp more with the cooler, so if the cost difference is worth hp to you than get the intercooled one.

At the crank? That would work out to be 375 at the wheels and 412 at the wheels respectively if you assume 15% drivetrain loss.

At the flywheel if that's much different. Either way still a nice little bump in hp different between the two is $1200 for that cooler but I'd like to get that one just to be in the 400 range

I would be surprised if your stock crank would be happy with that much power. I am by no means an expert, but I would research long and hard before I threw that much power at the stock rods and crank. Are they forged on the 96-98 Cobras?

Yeah rwhp is around 12% drivetrain loss.

442flywheel hp is 389rwhp, 484fwhp is 426rwhp.

So they say 37rwhp more with the intercooled kit and all of those numbers are very close to what I originally stated.

The crank is forged but the problem is the connecting rods. They will be fine at that level but once you push closer or above 450rwhp is where you are asking for trouble.

You could do some extra work to make that 400rwhp mark. full exhaust might get you there, or if that wasn't enough Ford GT cams would.
