Well guys,
I have found a place and will be staying in minnesota for at least 1-5 years, and will be working for my father full time, running it as he will mainly be in Georgia, as a mechanical engineer while going to school to become an architect.
The cobra is being transferred over to me within the month and I move into my own place the 1st.
Only realist plans I have for the next year with the car is at least get the side skirts installed and painted and get the spoiler painted.
On a side note I found a complete set of terminator rims. But will have to pass this time.

Well finally got around to getting the car to a mechanic. Had them diagnose it and they came to the conclusion the intake was the problem. Getting the intake machined and should have it back in no time.

There is a bad knocking in the bottom so I went ahead and pulled the trigger and went for engine swap.
Oh well.
At least it gives me more time to organize my new garage.

Guys down at MPSautosalvage were great. I felt like a little kid in a candy store. They have everything you could possibly ever need.
There she is. My new to me 98 cobra engine.
Also picked up a black dash and a few bits and pieces that i needed.
Once again the people here are really nice and will definitely be on my list to recommend to people.

Well it's been awhile since I posted, finally got the car back and am currently looking for someplace for the old motor to go to and first be looked at to see if its still fine or if it a piece of junk. Then it all comes down to how much money we wish to invest into the engine, I would love to go stroker rather than a factory rebuild. I guess that could also come down to how the block looks.
Hopefully around spring time it will be ready to get a new coat of paint and finally get those side skirt back on.

Update:
Motor is with my parents down in Georgia going thru a SLOW rebuild. At the moment the car starts but runs like its carb an will stall at idle after just a few seconds. The car hasn't moved since it was parked a few months ago but still gets started every now and then.

Long time
Been a few years, still have this car and all it’s quirks. Currently tearing out the interior slightly to lay down dampening material and rerun wires for speakers.
Car runs and starts fine but something is driving me up the wall. It rattles once it gets warm and sounds like it is coming from the header/mid pipe. I haven’t been able to check for leaks in the exhaust, but visually nothing seems loose.

Got confirmation that the Cats and muffler are both blown.
Time to change out the exhaust. I was thinking BBK catted x pipe and SPL loudmouths for catback.
