Cabin air filter questions

Ok im looking at replacing the Air box filter and figure its time for the cabin air filter as well, which i am ok with doing, however im just curious how to get to it, is it located on the passenger side behind the glove box or any place like that? also does anyone have a recommended type of cabin air filter that I should look for? I am thinking of looking for a reusable type but im not sure whats out there or the best type to use.

I am in the process of calling a few places for the air filter and getting pricing info at this time

well I don't seem to have the ability to find it, so I am just going to assume there is not one, I even looked on the Ford company site and didn't find any info...

Yeah gm is really into their cabin air filters and even most of their cars didn't start getting them until 06-08. Ford hasn't been into the cabin filters like they have been so most fords didn't start seeing them until 06-08 and up

That's how I feel about it. I think they are fairly unnecessary, most cars people don't know they have one or they don't want to pay to have them replaced or their shop never checks them so they get nasty and clogged and moldy and then that's the air you're breathing in all the time :yuck:

Excellent. I don't have the time or tools for everything, but this seems simple enough!
