2002 mustang gt

Changed the intake manifold one was bad so went a purchased a new one but after getting everything together and trying to start it it tried to turn over then the starter gave me like a locked up sound Could anyone help....????

You didn't have a bunch of coolant run down into the cylinders did you? If so you could have hydrolocked it or there's just the possibility your starter happened to go bad. If you are concerned you got coolant down in there pull the plugs and try to look down in it or try to turn it over and see if coolant splashes out the spark plug holes

if your car is hydrolocked or "flooded" best thing to do is hold down the accelerator pedal (gas) and while holding it down crack the car over and do this for a few seconds, and what this will do is make the car enter "clear flood" mode and if your car is flooded this should clear it....
