Recall the sound goes away when I brake . . . . . when I put the car on stands, there is absolutely no play in the 12oclock and 6oclock. I also noticed the previous owner did have a 19mm lug nut on the wheel, which did not seem to seat like the other lugs. Could I have a warped disc? I also found out the previous owner put S197 wheels w/o a proper spacer on my car . . . . .I am wondering if this noise will go away with my new SN95 sized wheels . . . .. . wheels arrive next Monday. I will keep you updated.

if you have play at the 3 and 9 oclock that could be tie rod end being bad. One lug nut missing most likely will not warp a rotor. Hard stops for high speed will warp a rotor. Front end alginment costed me under 70 bucks from firestone. I had my wheels on my 2k. They did rub slightly when turned all the way. other than that no problems.
